Portland & Upper Mount Bethel EMS is currently accepting applications for Volunteer EMT's. EMT training is not necessary to join, but it is preferred. Training can be provided to those who wish to join and do not have the proper training.

Volunteering on an emergency services squad can be one of life's most rewarding aspects. Great friendships & relationships are formed not only amongst the volunteers, but with our patients as well.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to join. Please Print & completely fill out Portland & Upper Mount Bethel EMS application & Pennsylvania State Police Request for Criminal Records Check , then return to Portland & Upper Mount Bethel EMS 106 State Street, P.O. Box 96 Portland, PA. 18351 or drop it off at our station. We are located behind the Shepherd's General Store & Pharmacy in Portland.
